Our 2025/2026 curling season is a wrap, and what a season it was!
Our membership grew to 229 and we welcomed 27 new members to the club
We hosted 7 bonspiels throughout the season; for new curlers, doubles, mens, open and mixed. Truly something for everyone. Our members love to participate in our events; AND you get an included entry into one club bonspiel with some memberships!
We added a new league this season; Day Open Doubles which filled up right away, and opened up availability for teams in our Evening Doubles league
We hosted several special events including the Ontario Winter Games Wheelchair curling event, Our 25th Anniversary Open House, and our "Meet & Greet" with the men's Team ON, including our own Dylan Niepage. Finally, we opened up our club to the community to offer Yoga and Learn to Stick Curl through the Ontario Seniors Grant.
Whew! And along the way, we had a great season, with a lot of laughs with our curling friends!
Registration will open for our next season in the near future. Stay tuned here for the announcement. Enjoy the offseason, and see you in October!

A winter pastime for over 200 years, neighbouring communities were curling on frozen ponds and streams a century ago. In 1927, the inaugural Kingsborough Cup recognized the best team, and continues to do so annually.
Our Coldwater and District Curling Club began over 30 years ago by renting ice at other facilities. In 1984, a group of dedicated curlers decided to make their dream of having a facility of their own a reality. The facilities that exist today is a commendation to past and present members whose dedication to their sport, community and club is beyond exceptional.
